What is an APK and how to get the won Android app
APK stands for Android Package Kit — it is the installation file format for applications built for the Android operating system. This file format is typically used to install an app from outside the Google Play Store.
The won Android app is available in APK format. It is available through the official channel — files obtained from any other source should not be used. Once the app is installed, you can access all of won's services directly from your phone, without needing to open the site in a browser.
For more details about the won App, you will find additional information on that page. An official version is also available for iOS users.
Steps to install the won APK
Get the official APK
Obtain the APK file through won's official channel. Avoid downloading files from any unknown sources.
Allow installation from unknown sources
Go to your phone's settings and enable the "Install unknown apps" or "Unknown sources" option. Android may ask for this the first time as a security measure.
Open the APK file
Tap the downloaded APK file from your phone's file manager or notification bar.
Tap the Install button
An installation prompt will appear on screen. Tap the "Install" button and wait for the process to complete.
Launch the app
Once installation is complete, the won icon will appear on your home screen or app drawer. Tap it to open the app.
Log in or create an account
Sign in with your won Login details or register a new account.
Always keep the won APK on the latest version
won regularly improves the app — adding new games, fixing performance issues, and delivering security updates. Some features may not work properly on an older version, or you may experience login problems.
When a new version is available, you will be notified inside the won app or through the official channel. To update, install the new APK file directly without uninstalling the previous app — your account information will remain intact.
Always get updates from the official source. Do not accept update files sent from any third-party site or messaging group.
What to do if you have trouble installing
Most installation problems are easy to fix. See below for what to do for each specific issue.
Low storage
If your phone does not have enough free space, the installation will get stuck. Free up space by deleting old files, unused apps, or clearing cache, then try again.
Installation is being blocked
Android security settings may block apps from unknown sources. Go to Settings and enable the "Unknown sources" or "Install unknown apps" option.
App won't open
If the app still won't open after installation, restart your phone once. If that doesn't help, uninstall the app and install the official APK fresh.
Problems with an old version
Is the app crashing suddenly or login not working? Go to the official channel and update using the latest APK.
Stay safe — use only the official APK
In Bangladesh, fake APKs spread through Telegram groups, Facebook pages, and unknown links. These files may look genuine but can contain malware or spyware that steals your account password and personal information.
Files of this kind that use the won name have no connection to won whatsoever. Keep the following in mind to stay safe:
- Do not click on any APK link sent via Telegram, WhatsApp, or Facebook.
- Do not install files obtained from outside the official won channel.
- After installing the app and logging in, make sure the URL and app icon match the original.
- If you are unsure, ask won's 24/7 live chat support.
- Follow the responsible gaming guidelines and enjoy safely.
